gh remap error 3 Replies

Hi Rafael,I have a slightly odd result coming from my remap component in gh. Some of the elements are standing upright, rather than lying down on their largest face. And they are also stacked across each other, rather than spreading out in a row.I have baked the same objects and re-mapped them in rhino and they come out fine. Is there something I can do to correct this? Many thanksJack MunroContinue

RhinoNest breaking Groups and overlapping parts 2 Replies

Hello,I am a student working on the trial version of RhinoNest 3.0.  I have looked at some of the posts in the forum regarding overlapping objects when nesting and have followed suggestions I have found there to prevent overlapping of parts on nesting.  I have ungrouped all, exploded, joined, regrouped and mapped to cplane all of which has helped my results, but. . .Now when I try to nest, each group is nested as a separate set of component parts.  What is my next step?Continue

Rhino Nest Loading Error 1 Reply

I just installed RhinoNest on another computer in my office and have been receiving an error message every time that I load Rhino.  Once I hit ok, Rhino loads and the RhinoNest pull down menu appears in the menu bar.  I can open a window to select objects and change the settings, but once I try to execute the nest, Rhino crashes.  Any ideas? Thanks,Colin Error Messages…Continue

Sticky settings for parameters please 3 Replies

dear rhinonest team,it has been requested before and now that we are on RN3, I feel the urge to ask you again to make the parameter settings in the dialog sticky. Please!I for one always have to do multiple trails of nesting to have RN come up with a good result. Therefore I will allways go back into the same dialog where I find most (not all) parameters set back to default settings. I will have to enter about 6 values again and again. This is really stupid work and produces a good chance for errors. Please consider this and make your generally smart software even smarter ;-)Best, frankContinue

LABELS OUTSIDE OF CLOSED CURVES 4 Replies

I have a number of unique parts that I need to nest, each with a unique label grouped to the outside of the part.  Is there any way that i can nest these parts with the floating label attached.  I had luck with one such part that was grouped with the text but I cannot seem to recreate the conditions that made this one object nest well.  There are several individual parts I need to nest - no duplicates.  The example I have below was a test on one individual part. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks. PART EXAMPLEGOOD NESTContinue

Trial Serial Number Not Found 3 Replies

Hi,I recently downloaded the evaluation version of RhinoNest 3.0 but for whatever reason i am having problems with the license. If I go to the license manager for RN within R5 it gives me 3 options....Evaluation version / Product Key / Zoo. When I click Evaluation Version nothing happens and no other menus appear. I tested Clayoo and within the Clayoo License manager a drop down menu appears which requires you to enter your details. After filling in these details clayoo worked fine.If anyone can offer some support it would be great! Thanks, FarleyContinue
