Optimize Position and Orientation of Objects
Big problem - i could use some help :)
Hi guys, i hope some of you can help me out here..
I have project, and i need to nest it in a sheet with specific dimensions: 2440x1220mm
Originally the items are too big to fit inside this sheet, so i've just sliced them in smaller parts, and closedcrv/joined them. Now.. when i start nesting it, i select my objects, and i choose 16mm(important because of the tools used on the millingmachine) for both of the distances(item to edge and item to item). and i've tried everything from 5 - 200 in "Nesting time per sheet. Freedom: Fixed/Free. And then i've tried to use the Automatic nesting, with different suboptions.
I've come up with different nestings, but all are with errors(either i get the: Solution not found. Please increase quality - or it makes an error about: Writing on protected memory - contact someemail@somewhere.something - cant remember the last error message :))
I've tried selecting all objects at the same time, but also to select a half/third of them.. Nothing works.. it keeps on saying that i should increase quality/otherwise it makes one of the errors.
I've added the files - please help somebody, it's for a school project, due to tomorrow :)

I've been getting the same errors. Please see the attached picture. For me it happens when I re-run a nest after doing a completed nest. If I re-boot Rhino, I don't get the error. However, if I run a nest and then run another one, I sometimes get it.

So the second part of the error is as shown in the attachment. But when I increase the quality from 30 to say 37, it nests the parts all on top of one another.
But when I increase the time from 60 seconds to 120 seconds, I have no problems.
