RhinoNest, nesting for Rhino

Optimize Position and Orientation of Objects

Hola TDM, hello all,

Congrats for the good job.

I'm a RhinoNest rookie. I was using it in my desktop PC (Athlon X2, WinXP SP3) and was worknig well, but in my notebook (Pentium III, WinXP SP2), the nesting function is placing objects way far from where they should be. Like hundreds of thousands of units away.

It's a shame since takes a while to do it and seems to calculate everithing right. It create sheets correctly and even shows the summary with what it seems to be the correct data. But generated objects are not useful since I can't reconstruct the correct location of nesting from those extreme distances.

Does this have happend to anyone? Is there a units setting or something else that I'm missing?

Hola Rafael,

Thanks for replying.

Yes, the latest version is nesting correctly in my notebook. Is also very nice to have this new nesting options and a better explanation of them. There are just a few minor bugs that I'll try to report soon.

Have a great New Year's eve!
