RhinoNest, nesting for Rhino

Optimize Position and Orientation of Objects

Hi,

For the local (metal)cutting company I need to delivery files in a certain way. For example a dxf file with closedpolylines and.

In the attached example, I have a hole in the unrolled plate and when I extract the base curve and nest it, the nesting is ok, but the nested part remains as a surface. When I export it to autocad (dxf, dwg) with curves. The isocurves are also implemented.

How do I get the base curves and inner curves, without the isocurves of the parts?

Thanks in advance,

Thomas Brandwijk

Hi,

Let me recommend the follow steps:

1. Select all the surfaces

2. Press key F3 and hide the Isocurves

3. Execute the command ExtractWireframe

Now you can export it! :)

If you have any doubt, don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks and best regards,
