RhinoNest, nesting for Rhino

Optimize Position and Orientation of Objects

i am trying to nest groups of objects with no closed outlining curve, is this in any was possible?

each curve is its own single curve.

i have over 400 parts similar to this that are each in their own group.

is there anyway to trace the outline of the group to get a closed outer curve?

the layer and cutting order is very important aswell.

Hi,

RhinoNest needs at least one closed curve to do the nesting.

I was thinking in your case, and maybe we can create a tool to "wrap" a closed curve in a group of open curves. While we can offer an automatic solution, I recommend to try Curve Boolean, maybe is the fatest solution. Remember if you click outside select all the curve.

Please may you send me a file with 2 or 3 groups to send to the developers?
