RhinoNest, nesting for Rhino

Optimize Position and Orientation of Objects

Hi,

Here a sample to do a nesting with a non-rectangular sheet.

Here the objects that we want to use:

1. We need to create a rectangle in the sheet and connect both:

2. Create an offset and use it as sheet.

3. Execute the RhinoNest and select the blue with a priority bigger than the circles and use the red curve as sheet.

Here your nesting with non-rectangular!

We will add this functionality in the future, but while you can use this method.

Thanks and best regards,

Hi,

You can do it from the graphical selector.

1. Select the sheet shape

2. Type a priority value, 5 for example.

3. Click on Apply button

If you have any doubt, don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks and best regards,
