RhinoNest, nesting for Rhino

Optimize Position and Orientation of Objects

Wish: Optimized Nest, Without a Number of Parts?

I am curious if it is possible to work in a nesting feature that would take a few parts, of what I would consider a kit, and nest the kit to the best possible nest across several sheets.

The command would determine the amount of parts and also the number of sheets on it's own. I know it would probably take a long time to process but it might actually save time. I know it would save me time. I'm always redoing nests, adjusting the part quantity until I get the best sheet yield.

Does this make sense?
thanks,
Ryan

What you describe is a really cool feature and I'll get a lot of use out of that, but maybe this image will explain myself better.

Hi Ryan,

Now we add the option full all the sheet!, but the priority is full as more as possible. For your question, I recommend to get all the curves of the KIT and connect it. Use this curve (grouped to all the curves) to do the nesting.

I will go on thinking on it! :)
