Helle Rafael,   After the installation of service pack 3 al lot of errors disappeared, but for this file the errors showed up again. Can you give me some advice?  All the lines are closed, checked, groups are made, so I don't know…

Hello!   Problem solved! I installed service pack 3 and it worked. But now I have some parts that overlap, has that anything to do with the new option "optimize polylines"?

Hi Thomas,   What parameters are you using? May you do a snapshot of the parameters window?   Usually the problem of memory is because RhinoNest find "bad solutions".    Thanks,   Rafael del Molino TDM Solutions SL

Hi,   Thanks for the answer!   What I do not understand is how the _Dir command shows 2 different directions and de Remap just one? See attachment.   Regards, Thomas Brandwijk

Hi,   The question is, where does RhinoNest get the direction information from?  Obtain the plane from the planar curve. And the plane depends of the curve direction. Does it help?   How can I set a direction to an object in the…

List direction

Hi, The list command contains a one-by-one mode that generate the opportunity to place the text on either side of an object (this is also possible in the Remap function). The question is, where does RhinoNest get the direction information from? If I use the Rhino command _Dir and flip it, the RhinoNest direction does not change. How can I set a direction to an object in the beginning of the design process, so that it keeps this information during the naming, mapping and nesting process? Last…See More

Nesting curves

Hi, For the local (metal)cutting company I need to delivery files in a certain way. For example a dxf file with closedpolylines and. In the attached example, I have a hole in the unrolled plate and when I extract the base curve and nest it, the nesting is ok, but the nested part remains as a surface. When I export it to autocad (dxf, dwg) with curves. The isocurves are also implemented. How do I get the base curves and inner curves, without the isocurves of the parts? Thanks in advance,Thomas…See More

Hi Thomas,   I think it is a problem of Rhino 4.0. The toolbar system doesn't work as good as I would like. Let me recommend to place the toolbar where you want, and then, lock the toolbars.   In Rhino 5.0, they rewrite all the…

First of all, the new version is perfect!! It is a major step forward in optimizing the production preparation. One, probably, simple question:Our rhino workspace setup won't dock the RhinoNest toolbars at startup, so we have to dock it every time. Is there anything to fix this problem? Thanks in advance,Thomas BrandwijkSee More
